Middle Collegiate Church

As one of the oldest Protestant congregations in the United States, Middle Collegiate Church stands as a beacon of inclusive faith and courageous justice. Middle Church is a multicultural, multiethnic, intergenerational movement of Spirit and justice, powered by fierce, revolutionary Love, with room for all. Middle Church is an LGBTQ+ and Queer-affirming church, committed to healing souls and the world by dismantling racist, classist, sexist, ethnocentrist, ableist, and cisheterosexist systems of oppression. Under Jacqui’s leadership, the church has grown from a congregation of 400 to a community of 4,200 in 22 countries and all 50 states. Middle Church continues its legacy of resilience, particularly following the devastating 2020 fire that destroyed her sanctuary, emerging renewed and recommitted to love in action
